Great news to wake up to for The Witcher III Remaster. Especially that last one. I had that same issue with an older version of the game, and I was devastated to see it returned with the remaster 😭

I don’t really like these kinds of games anymore, but even when I did I wouldn’t have liked this tbh. For me the point was to learn how the bosses worked and figure out how to beat them. This just sounds like a headache to me lol.

… in a new way. On top of that, I’ve realized that this isn’t even just about loving Batman. I want to read Star Wars comics. There’s some Marvel characters I want to get into. My whole life I personally have never been a Superman person, but I want to try a Superman comic.

When I first started reading Batman comics (Knightfall), I didn’t know if it would be something I would actually stick with. I’m on my 4th book now (UTRH) and I think I can say that this is something that I love now. I’ve been having so much fun exploring one of my favorite fictional characters…

My first Batman comic book, Batman Knightfall, Volume One.

My 4th Batman comic, Batman: Under the Red Hood.

A Control Resonant sketch for the game journal. This part broke me. 🥲

An image of a sketchbook with ink drawings of two shadow figures. The figure on the left is shorter with the caption “I don’t want to remember” while the figure on the right is taller with the caption “You can’t stop at the hard part”.

I’ve never been a big racing game fan but the more I see of this game the more I want it 😭

The assist mode in Control Resonant has presets and I’m playing with the Strategist preset for my NG+ run. It’s pretty fun. I have some close calls when I get careless but for the most part I just wreck everything lol.

Yeah it took some getting used to for sure. I still have to rely on the map a bit on my second playthrough. It looks cool but it can also be confusing trying to figure out which wall I’m supposed to be on 😅

Platinum #128: CONTROL Resonant. The first Control is one of my favorite games, so I had high hopes for this. For me, Remedy delivered. Imo everything outside of the story is better in this game. The combat was really fun and the story/world kept me intrigued. My only 2 negatives will be below.

Me too. I thought I’d have enough time to finish regular NG+ and take a break for a few weeks before it came out 😂

Nicholas @salohcin2.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Well I wasn’t expecting NG++ almost immediately 😅. These two notes in particular make me happy.

Sadness is wanting to buy the physical Gwent set but having no one to play it with. (I will buy it anyway)

Glad to hear that! My biggest issue so far is just stuttering here and there. Kinda scared for when I reach places like Novigrad or Oxenfurt 😅

How are you finding the remaster so far?

110

Nicholas @salohcin2.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Now that I’ve finished the game, I can say Zoe has a great Mixtape. 10/10, will listen to again. Also please let us listen to the songs while we play the game. Listening to these songs while fighting Hiss would be amazing. 🙏

2 downsides: 1. Some of the last few boss fights in the story weren’t terrible fights, but imo they were more annoying than fun. The final boss was cool though. 2. Towards the end of the game there is a certain section that gives you some cool backstory, but was kinda long and boring to play.

I wanted to type this out while it was on my mind. It’s kinda long but I wanted to make a post talking about my experience with bugs in Control Resonant. There’s no real spoilers, the only thing I mention is a bug with a specific reward you get. I’m on base PS5 for clarity. #ControlResonant
