Sadness is wanting to buy the physical Gwent set but having no one to play it with. (I will buy it anyway)

Now that I’ve finished the game, I can say Zoe has a great Mixtape. 10/10, will listen to again. Also please let us listen to the songs while we play the game. Listening to these songs while fighting Hiss would be amazing. 🙏

Platinum #128: CONTROL Resonant. The first Control is one of my favorite games, so I had high hopes for this. For me, Remedy delivered. Imo everything outside of the story is better in this game. The combat was really fun and the story/world kept me intrigued. My only 2 negatives will be below.

I wanted to type this out while it was on my mind. It’s kinda long but I wanted to make a post talking about my experience with bugs in Control Resonant. There’s no real spoilers, the only thing I mention is a bug with a specific reward you get. I’m on base PS5 for clarity. #ControlResonant

Happy Witcher III Remaster day!! I have a couple more things I want to finish in Control Resonant, because I know once I start The Witcher I’ll be sucked in 😂 I will be starting today though, and I can’t wait!

My trophy progress for Control Resonant so far. I’m pretty close to the platinum, but I haven’t really been going for it. I took a look through the list after I finished the story, but I’ve just been playing the game and I’ve just gotten a lot of these naturally. Im loving it so much though.

Finished the main story in Control Resonant last night. Took me about 40 hours, but I got distracted and did side content a lot. All I will say for now is I loved it. A lot. As much as I love the first game, Resonant is better in almost every way imo. Remedy nailed it (again).

I am at the end of Control Resonant. Gearing up for the final boss now. I’m excited to see how this ends but I don’t want it to end either.

I just reached a big point in Control Resonant that I really felt I was heading into the end of the game. But it’s not over yet! I want it to keep going, it’s so good 😭 I’m definitely getting close though. I’m trying to drag it out with side content as much as possible lol.

I feel like I’m not really far enough in Control Resonant to judge a lot of it yet, but I can easily say one thing. Before release I was curious to see how the gameplay would feel going from gun focused in 1, to melee focused. Remedy knocked it out of the park imo. It is so addicting.

The Super Shotgun from DOOM will always be one of my favorite video game weapons. It’s nothing fancy but when I think of DOOM, I think of the super shotgun. Also DOOM 2016 is still so awesome to this day. Everything about it just works so well.

Now that I’ve finished Alan Wake II, I don’t know what I want to do. Control Resonant is out Thursday, and five days later is The Witcher 3 remaster. I’ve got the next few weeks taken care of lol. Just don’t know what I want to play for the next 3 days.

Platinum #127: Alan Wake II. For me personally this was MILES better than the first game, in every way. My biggest thing was the combat was much more enjoyable this time around. I also thought the story was GOOD. Alan Wake was fascinating, and I really liked Saga too. Remedy games are special.

Nicholas @salohcin2.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Making good progress in Alan Wake II. I’ve reached Saga’s point of no return. Got a bunch of Alan Wake himself ahead of me now.

I couldn’t remember how far into Alan Wake II I made it last time, but I remembered I made it a little bit into Watery. Just got a trophy for finding the screwdriver so I guess that’s my answer lol. Everything from here will be completely new to me!

Next game, Alan Wake II! I started this game last year I think. Never finished it though for some reason. I thought this would be the perfect time to finally finish it though! I get to continue in the Remedy World, and I wanted to finally complete it in October anyways. Glad to see Ahti again.
