GPEW leadership acted far too late (and, in some cases, not at all) in responding to the ZiR motion, and advocates against the motion didn't put in the work to coordinate opposition. That's what happens when you half-arse something you say is actually really important, you lose!

Yeah, I think as far as what motions make it onto the agenda, and what they focus on, and whether we debate them or not, we could change all that rather radically just by members organising, and/or the leadership and MPs getting involved more

I would say it works. I think a lot of blame is put on structures, rather than how we as a membership, collectively interact with these structures. We can make these structures work, but not if we're totally atomised and individualised. We need to be organised and strategic.

Well there aren't 36 members, there will be when we fully transition to GPC from GPRC. Also there are regional vacancies. I don't know who voted and who didn't. I haven't seen any paperwork or minutes. But yes, it's a collective decision. All GPEW committees are. The chair can't command.

I'm aware of who GWD are, I've been in GPEW for almost 12 years now, seen it, stood for GPEx got beaten by the transphobes. And I'm aware of why that screenshot out of context of that specific election would cause alarm. I get that. Truly.

I think they printed that because they hated the people recalled and there were only 4ish names on the ballot. But I don't know GWD, they hate me. 🤷🏼‍♂️

If I remember correctly, because of course the party has drama left right and centre 365. That was the GPC by election because the GPC members had been recalled by the region because they had caused drama. Kai and Amanda were elected.

Fair enough. I can understand how that screenshot can look, on the face of it. But I can tell you, Kai didn't seek that out, at all. I wouldn't be friends with him if I thought he did or was a member of GWD.

Because you haven't proven that. You don't have proof that Kai is linked to GWD. You also don't have proof Kai has targeted SfL. SfL hasn't published any proof at all. I stayed out of this but she's targeting friends of mine.
