⠀ + a bit of space right now. and i don't know how to say that to you so instead i just tell you to shut up. soooo, i'm sorry and i am... glad you're in my life.... 〞 she said, breathing a sigh. 〝 how was that? 〞 ⠀

⠀ 〝 ugh.... fine... 〞 mermista was not feeling up to it, but she knew that adora wouldn't allow herself to sulk. so she turned and face the blonde. 〝 alright.. sea hawk. listen to me. i know you love me and care for me, but i would just like + ⠀

⠀ 〝 i guess so... 〞 she said as she looked over at adora. her eyes were beginning to fill with tears again as she walked herself over to a bench and sat down. 〝 i just.... sea hawk can be very nice to be around, but he gets too excited + ⠀

⠀ 〝 whoa! 〞 as she dragged outside to the testing site, she could see the bomb. then it would go off, and she covered her face so that debris would not hit her. afterwards, she looked over and saw the huge mark left behind, with the trees cleared + ⠀

⠀ 〝 well, seems like you got it. i'll be on my way then. take care, miranda. 〞 she said as she turned and began diving into the sea and swimming back to her home. hopefully she gave good enough directions for the other princess to follow. ⠀

⠀ 〝 abandoned fort.. hmm, let's see... 〞 she thought for a moment on how exactly to get there. it was always a mess whenever she was thinking of directions. 〝 oh yeah. okay, so you'll need to turn around, go a few miles back, then turn right at + ⠀

⠀ mermista calms down a little after hearing that. she may seem like she doesn't care most of the time, but she doesn't want to be impoded. 〝 well in that case, yeah. i would like to see this bomb demonstrated. 〞 she said, leaning on the wall. ⠀

‍ ‍ * 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀. @salineasruler.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

⠀ 〝 you can't do that? well i'm not a human. i'm a mermaid. so, yeah. 〞 she continued to look at this strange princess, wondering what she would be thinking about. 〝 uh, before i go, is there any direction you needed help with? 〞 ⠀

‍ ‍ * 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀. @salineasruler.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

⠀ 〝 adora, i know how to fight. i grew up in a kingdom, that's all i've done. but i appreciate your help. 〞 she said as she made her way to the training room. 〝 alright here we are. there is a pool for water fighting so just like... be careful. 〞 ⠀

‍ ‍ * 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀. @salineasruler.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

⠀ 〝 wow, you're really something else. 〞 she said as she turned around and transformed into her mermaid form. she dove into the the water and swam up. 〝 well, i hope your conquest works out for you. 〞 ⠀

⠀ mermista just stared for a moment as she processed that info. 〝 yeah, sure. but i wouldn't be so confident either. now get out of here. 〞 she countinued to stand there, watching the other's face as she folded her arms. ⠀

⠀ 〝 um... yeah. it's just down the hall. come on, i'll show you. 〞 she said, getting up from her sitting position and walking out the door. she wiped her face and continued to walk, not waiting for adora to follow. ⠀
