I am so hyped to have this book in my grubby little hands! I’ll probably start digging in tomorrow, thank you @brandtandstein.com

Photo of the cover to Worst Man by Brandt & Stein which features art of a red haired man sitting in the lap of a larger man in a dark suit seated on a wedding cake that is falling apart.

Was gonna try to play some Metroid Dread but this guy’s been restless and then kinda just perched on me until I covered him with a blanket. I’m at a frustrating bit so I guess I’ll try tomorrow. 🙃

Channeling Monday stress/fatigue into making little frog friends. These are pretty fun!

Photo of two crocheted frogs with long limbs. The frog on the left is gray, black, purple and white (ace colors) and the frog on the right is pink, blue and white (trans colors). Both frogs have shiny black eyes.

fox4kc.com/news/hoskins... So we're using the 2022 in Missouri's election (for now) and there's still a possible contempt hearing going on at 2pm.

Three panels from the webcomic Achewood, from left to right: A bear (Theodore) enters the room saying: Hey guys! Guess who just got...yelllled...aaat!

I never really know what to post about but I read a lot so…I’ll try to post about what I’m reading more! I finished up Before Gender today, which has 28 stories of trans people from history specifically 1850-1950.

Photo of the book Before Gender: Lost Stories from Trans History, 1850-1950 by Eli Erlick. The cover is white with splashes of color and bits of some black and white photos of some of the book’s subjects.

Been hanging out with local creatives and doing some crafting, highly recommend! My crafts for tonight are a blushy ghost that glows in the dark and a rainbow f-bomb

Photo of assorted things on a black table. From left to right: some white yarn, a ghost that’s blushing, a rainbow f-bomb with a Mountain Dew can behind it, a rainbow pencil and rainbow yarn.

I’ve had a frustrating couple of days so it’s time to relax with a book I’ve been looking forward to from @wiswell.bsky.social

I don’t know why I think this is so funny

Doesn’t he know you need 2 wings to fly? Is he stupid or something?”

I’ve been dealing with excess stress by making friendship bracelets, finally hoarded enough beads to get some ideas going! The only problem is now I have ideas I need more beads for 😅

It’s a messy pile of friendship bracelets, like the swifties and k-pop stans make (I think. I am an old.) There’s lots of colors and a mix of plastic and glass beads. Some of them glow in the dark.

This is a local laser hair removal places’s latest billboard, I think their worst so far by which I mean their best. The first one was two billboards on either side of the highway with a plane and language about a landing strip, and the second one just had a picture of a hairless cat.

A photo over a highway in Missouri, of a large green billboard that has a hairless cat reaching over the center to bat at a laser (which lights up at night). The billboard reads “For Playtime” and “Laserderm Hair Removal”

Fun fact: this is where my wife goes for her laser treatments and apparently someone found the airplane billboards offensive so now they just do a single one. With hairless cats.

Pretty sure that’s supposed to say “tropical”

Screenshot from a grocery app of a bottle of a blue drink, according to the text in the picture it costs $1.99 and is “Skittles Topical Drink”

I think it’s supposed to say “Skittles Tropical Drink”

Seems pretty safe to assume a skittles drink is not medicine or medicinal haha

I got to mess around a little with water slide decals tonight. Eye decals are pretty fun! The decal for a little stripe along the collar…did not survive 🙂‍↕️

Another picture of the same runner, this time both faces have eyes applied. The open mouthed face has one eye open and one eye winking and the closed mouth face has eyes and eyebrows that give a determined expression.

It’s Wednesday! And I’ve returned to reading through the pile of comics I unearthed + my purchases from free comic book day. So for #wereadscomics I have Dying Inside, written by Pete Wentz and Hannah Klein with Lisa Sterle on illustration and Sally Cantirino on layouts.

The one on the right (Xie Lian) has long brown hair that is partially up in a bun wrapped with a white ribbon and wears white robes. He’s holding a light blue die in his hand, with one facing up.
