Hey all, sorry for disappearing - had to take a break from everything online for a bit - my cat passed away and it took (and still takes) and it’s still hard. Atm I don’t have the time/energy to be here as much as before, but I’ll be around when I can. I hope you’re all doing well ❤️

I'm so excited to share an amazing piece of art that I commissioned from the incredibly talented, @armenelos.bsky.social! Before we had S2 I dreamed of the moment Celebrimbor withstood Sauron on the steps of the Mírdain, and I'm sure you'll agree this piece is a beautiful vision of that moment.

I’ve gotten a lot of new followers the last couple of days. I mean people with 99% political content on their accounts. What are the odds that they’re all secretly smut-loving Tolkien fans? Am I on some sort of list..? 🧐

I know Adar was likely chained longer ago and Maedhros was not one of the 13(?) elves taken to “that dark and nameless peak” but I love the idea of Mae looking over from his hanging spot to see Adar getting wine with Sauron and being like “?!??That was an option?!?!?”

#Durin was so real for calling out #Elrond like that. Imagine being friends with an elf and they fuck off, then randomly shows up after twenty years of silence - not even to see you primarily, but to pitch a project to your boss - and go ‘r u mad at me or something?’ Clueless dingbat elf.

I dread my own smut scenes. Every time they happen it's like 'fml that's gonna be another 2000+ words isn't it' 💀 Can you just kindly bang like the rest of us even once? No? Shakespearian needling and mindfucks are foreplay? Okay then. Both of them are such divas. #silvergifting

Éowyn, and I cannot stress this enough, whips ass.

And she answered: ‘All your words are but to say: you are a woman,
and your part is in the house. But when the men have died in battle
and honour, you have leave to be burned in the house, for the men
will need it no more. But I am of the House of Eorl and not a
serving-woman. I can ride and wield blade, and I do not fear either
pain or death.’
‘What do you fear, lady?’ he asked.
‘A cage,’ she said. ‘To stay behind bars, until use and old age
accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond
recall or desire.'
