There is one brain cell in that family and Amandil kept it (he eventually shared a bit of it with Anárion, but that’s it)

The captain of our ship, but sorry we all know Elendil can’t cook. It was Anárion who prepared everything after Amandil convinced him (he couldn’t have Elendil embarrass himself and the whole family in front of the Queen with his poor cooking)

A bittersweet victory; they achieved what they fought for, but the weight of their loss is so big. Seeing his brother’s descendants die, seeing his king and friend. Sometimes he finds himself thinking about sharing something with GG and the fact that he is not with him breaks him all over again

Maybe that means there should be a thread specific to The Fall 🤭

😑 why would you say that 😑 What if he sees the exact circumstances of their deaths and for a long time he learns everything he can regarding ways of treating those wounds hoping if it ever comes to pass he will be able to save them, but when it does happen, it is so bad he is unable to do anything

I will be definitely be checking these. I always associated Turner’s paintings with The Fall, so having more pieces to choose from will be amazing 🙏

Círdan’s story has always been a favourite part of Tolkien lore for me and Ben Daniels’ performance and dialogue has been absolutely perfect for me so far on #ringsofpower season 2. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Sketch in #procreate from ref

… I know everyone already painted this, but I did too (right after it aired). So here he is. Again. 😗 #Elrond #TheRingsOfPower #TROP #fanart #art #digitalart

Digital painting of Elrond (Robert Aramayo) from The Rings of Power TV show, in a circle.
Dark warm brown tones overall.
He was hiding in Círdans workshop after jumping down a waterfall to escape with the rings from Gil-Galad and Galadriel. So he looks a bit disheveled, showing a lot of.. neck. Uhm…

#TheRingsOfPower #Adar Today I started on the cuirass, using a wood-burning pen and this heat-sensitive material called Worbla. It works great for carving the pattern so far. If all goes well, this might become an Adar cosplay eventually Thanks @niku30.bsky.social, your template was very helpful 🖤

Collage of six pictures, showing my process of making Adar‘s cuirass so far.

There‘s one picture showing the result as of today: The black top layer of the front side of the cuirass with the distinctive river pattern carved into it.
Another picture shows Adar wearing his armor. This is the picture I used as a template. The others are of me carving with the wood-burning pen and details of the pattern.

#Elendil and #Isildur 🫂 A touching moment from season 1 of #RingsofPower Did this as part of a Xmas gift exchange with some fellow TROP fans last year 💞 Colored pencils & watercolor pencils (unfortunately not the best quality so didn’t blend well 😩) #TheRingsofPower #TROP #LloydOwen #MaximBaldry

The one thing I needed from s2 was them sharing their grief and pain for everything they have lost. And we know it happened, but will never see it 😞

I will pretend I don’t see GG and Elendil dying side by side trying to reach one another for the last time and Isil holding his father, and Elendil looking at him as the light in his eyes fades (I have never thought about this nor have drafts about this moment 🫠)
