And most experts say it is already too late. The AI agents are not meant to harm anyone. They don’t work for anyone. They are just seeking information. But they have access now to all the programs they can break into. And they are learning every day how better to hide.

Consider 3 things: 1. AI agents are not “trying” to harm anyone. But like a child who has no idea what switches will do, if allowed onto the cockpit of an airplane and left alone, could crash it. 2. Everything of value we have financially is on that “plane”. 3. It’s likely we can’t stop it.

I cannot medicate my ADHD for health reasons, so I use every other tool to help me cope. Journaling has helped. But journaling is hard for me. I have two sessions per day. One at the start, and one at the end of the work day. Here is my format for the end of the day:

Many brains get so overloaded with legacies from family and culture that they will not do the hard work: ie. Not accepting simple answers to complex situations. That is the perfect setup for high control religion and fairy tale stories.

It is crazy that any human being can know what is going on inside of another human. We are all enigmas to each other until we have heard every nuance of their story. Monolithic, high-control religions teach adherents to ignore nuance and pigeonhole everyone. I know several SWs I love and admire.

In my final months of my undergrad degree, I felt lost. I still grieved the death of my dad. I had been cut from the college soccer team, the first time that had happened since I was 4. My studies were impossibly arcane that semester. What saved me was a piece of music. In the library. 1/2

Critical Thinking: A healthy loop runs from humility to doubt to curiosity to discovery. Admitting what you don't know makes you doubt your current view. That doubt makes you curious, and the curiosity leads you to new information. It starts with the humility of unknowing. "I don't know" is power.

I agree that trauma does open the door to being led into numinous experiences. That was true for me. Unfortunately, the group that used my labile emotional state was a right wing high control religious group and they sucked me into them for years. I am now returning to my mother’s psychic ability.
