I used to sit in ConOps as a vice chair during BronyCon. The attitudes folks had and the comfort they had berating volunteers was astounding. Folks pay for a badge and feel entitled. "We believe in being the change you want to see; we could use your help clearly, you interested in volunteering?"

I need to stop looking at the news: all the information provided is bad. Such stunningly poor leadership and an absolute lack of humanity. Its awfully hard to engage in escapism when there are tremendously irrational and wrong injustices occuring that no one is willing to stand up to.
