Bill Wolkoff has kindly shared this image of the mask used for M'Ress in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" at Threads. So you can see it was a practical effect. 👌

33 years ago today, the Stranger stepped onto the dock of Myst Island for the first time. We can still hear the water splashing against the pilings.

The dock of Myst Island from the original version of the game. A wooden dock ends at a spiral staircase that leads up to giant gears on a hillside. A ship is sunk in the water on the right, and parts of buildings are visible on the left.

I've reached the point in my life where I am actively making mementos and bracelets for friends now. I was given one a year ago by a wonderful peep and it became a rock for me as a reminder I am loved when I had rough brain days.

I used to sit in ConOps as a vice chair during BronyCon. The attitudes folks had and the comfort they had berating volunteers was astounding. Folks pay for a badge and feel entitled. "We believe in being the change you want to see; we could use your help clearly, you interested in volunteering?"

I am home back in my house, and back in TexAss. The home AC has now been fixed, and now my upstairs can relax on being 90 degrees 😭 I need to just let my landlord know this unit has to be replaced. Hopefully I can convince him to let me install a heat pump unit. The research begins

The drive home started earlier today from the lodge, but I needed a nap at a nearby rest area. Finally made it to Kentucky for the first charge stop. So many messages and things to catch up on when I get to the hotel and home tomorrow.

Hauled so much Gold in Elite Dangerous for the community goal this weekend; I now have a fully outfitted fleet carrier, sans outfitting & shipyard, since as the FC owner I get that service already. Oh & it also has enough banked in it to maintain upkeep for 2.5 years. What even is sleep?
