#mtgalter people I need help. Golden acrylic. Tried to wipe the brush before marking but it's so hard to tell what I'm doing. Gesso and even a small bit of water don't mix. Color mixing is hard and my palette dried out before the layer did. I am legally blind, and am using my phone camera to see.

Workstation full of paints. There is a pink phone stand on a box. There are five altered magic the gathering cards. Seize the spoils is completely blanked out other than the art. Elvish mystic has "CoD Druid" written on it. Three different altered basic lands are on the right, in various stages of incomplete.

To the poscas, that doesn't work on gesso, noted I guess. But I have such a hard time with the layering, I kept scratching off the first layer.

Okay, @glitchprod.com @danaterrace.bsky.social This is entirely inconsequential but I am curious. What on earth mahjong variant is this? Based on the 3s and 9s, pin (dots) are the gwen stars, fine. Except there are also two of crowns in the top left? East, south, and west all look normal.

Symbols are neat but to the point. The left hand has six tiles, the right hand has eight. Neither has a real meld. Everyone is drawing from their own wall. If every player has discarded 3 or 4 tiles (based on the walls) where have they gone? There are only 8 on the table.

I think rhythm games and tetris the grandmaster are the closest we get to theoretical max difficulty; where it's such a long string of precise inputs but it's still physically possible, and some people enjoy it. (I don't, but that's a me issue)

Fair. Though it does lead to another philosophical question, what is the most difficult gameplay mechanic that can still be utilized as fun? I understand the math behind chained ultras, it would take me dozens of hours alone just to actually learn it.

the thing about the pokemon scalper discord posts is they are very funny but they’re not unique. that is how the vast majority of investors, landlords, business owners think. obviously you can find exceptions but that is simply your brain on capitalism

Hey, y’all. First of all, I want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support you have shown us after we shared our predicament. Your kindness has truly moved me in ways I can’t even begin to describe. At the beginning of last week, this felt like a truly unsurmountable situation, but your support has given me hope.

That being said, we’re not out of the woods yet. Our recent skirt presales, giftcard sales and the GoFundMe have helped a TON but we are still facing a very scary October—and unfortunately not the fun Halloween kind!

Sales and donations have slowed down since last week, so while we have enough cash on hand to make our first few payments to UPS, we don’t have anywhere near enough to cover the entire bill.

To avoid this situation in the future, we’re planning to take on a new loan so we can place a large order of printed skirts that should arrive in time for the holidays, but that means we won’t have that money available to us to pay off UPS. We may also need to do presale on some or all of those skirt designs, but we’ll deal with that when the time comes.

The fact that we can even add this to our plans and look to the future in this way is a huge testament to how much you have already helped us.

What you can do to help us:

I know that for the vast majority of you, you have already made the purchases or donations that you are willing and able to do, and for that I cannot thank you enough. What we really need now is visibility. As a small business with not a lot of time or money on our hands, we rely almost entirely on word of mouth marketing. Sharing or engaging with our posts on your preferred social platforms helps immensely, and so does sharing us with your friends, family, and acquaintances in real life. If there are any creators out there that you think would like our size inclusive, ethically made clothing, consider recommending us to them! (Though please keep it chill and do not spam anyone)

To close this out, once again I just want to say how much I appreciate all the love and kindness y’all have shown us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
