When you still gotta finish the next part of your chapter but it's October so now you have to draw your OCs hanging out with their Scooby-Doo archetypes:

Daphne Blake striding with poise, holding sparkly pink shopping bags. My oc, in a blue 1890s dress complete with long skirt, poofy sleeves, and sturdy brown heels, carrying her bags while smiling at Velma. Velma has a very excited gesturing (to our right) pose. Her walk is the most energetic out of the three. It looks like she just frolicked in while talking to Naomi. This takes place in a retro 1970s mall. They are walking past a store called "KISS KILL" with lipstick boasting a new formula in its display window. They are close to another store that sells clothes. What can be seen is a cut-off of the word "luxury" and in the display window a mannequin reaching upward, wearing a pink crop top and denim skirt.

Cheapjack Gentlemen is a horror-comedy webcomic set in the Victorian era. A crafty quack doctor and a somber undertaker become partners in crime, selling cadavers to a dubious medical school - however, personal differences create issues in their business. 🪦Read it here: cheapjackgentlemen.carrd.co

Doppelgänger AU …there’s two of them "I wish to not be a monster anymore." "Waaaaaah! I don’t wanna share a face with that thing! I wish we looked different!" #chiikawa #momonga #dekatsuyo #ChiikawaAU #kawaiiart #creepycuteart

Momonga, a chibi sugar glider with blue features, who got their body back next to their evil double also a sugar glider but with yellow and brown features and white horns. What happened to the evil one's (real Dekatsuyo, fake Momonga) body is less clear.

I should sit down and analyze what my #silverbulletinc ocs think about Carter being their meat shield (and healer by "blood donation"). There are a lot of ethical questions. Even though it's the 1890s they'd at least be concerned as his friends.

"Let's be in a relationship chart and not tell Artemis."

This is them, starting out.
Naomi Deere: veteran detective, burnt out and wants a fresh start, collects fossils, horse girl
She and Lester Bennet are friends, but they do still have some animosity (time period reasons).
Lester Bennet: bodyguard, aspiring naturalist, met Carter at school back in England, can switch between accents
He and Carter are in a situationship, but it ain't that serious. They're still best friends.
Carter Springs: meat shield, tech expert, likes tinkering, undead (alien infection)
Carter and Meringue aren't that close, but they're cool with each other.
Meringue: tracker, there's something off about this dog, embarrasses Artemis for fun, thinks PDA is cringe
Her and Naomi don't know each other super well, but they get along. She feels pretty meh about Lester. She's just a cool animal to him.
Naomi is not that close with Carter, but she thinks he's alright. Feeling is mutual, but Carter lowkey thinks she's cute.

Middle years where everyone is super close now at least halfway into best friend territory. Lester is irritated with Carter, sorta wishes he'd put a name to their relationship. Meringue and Carter although still not that close have a mutual respect for each other's role in the team. Lester also considers what Meringue does as amazing. Meringue considers Lester her work friend. She will die for Naomi. Naomi trusts Meringue with her life.
Meringue is also a guard dog that keeps an eye on the posse now. Ribs Artemis; favors Naomi.
Naomi: paranormal investigator, exorcist, uses scholarly knowledge, journals for memory
Lester Bennet became a novice entomologist, likes fishing, and is still terrified of spirits.
Carter Springs: healer/lab technician, a meat shield second, appreciates good food, wants a girlfriend

Alt Text 1: "Only five bullets for a quarter!" he points angrily while firmly gripping the counter with his other hand. A cartoony vein bulges in his neck. The wolf man appears rather standoffish behind the counter with his taxidermy head in shadow. His eyes still shine back a bright yellow.

Carter Springs' remains have to be burned up completely or else he'll regenerate back. What Lester and Naomi can endure might be based on video game/cartoon logic although Naomi might be a lil closer to the average human. Artemis can survive as much as the average shonen anime protagonist can.

lesser cryptid @s0ulpatches.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

Naomi would pick her husband and fail, since although he's trapped in one of the options for an afterlife, he's definitely still alive and kicking. Artemis would pick his dog Meringue. (After digging her back up of course.)

#luckyluke Calamity Jane in Fields of Mistria relationship chart

Calamity Jane is friends with all of the characters in Fields of Mistria. Is shown to have at least thought that most of the bachelors are hot if not fully crushing on them. Only exception being March who is just a friend. He kinda dislikes her tbh, but she oblivious. She has a mild dislike for Valen who she thinks is a stick in the mud for getting on her case about her health and safety. Celine has a small crush on Calamity. Juniper dislikes her for being unrefined but is also crushing to her dismay.

soft launching being a Calamity Jane (Lucky Luke) fan with some doodles (her in chiikawa and Sonic) my oc is here too with @wisteriartist.bsky.social the big version of him in the corner is possessed by an ancient evil that decided the first thing she was gonna do is mog

Misc. doodles from left to right:
1. Purple bug alien hugging a buff, wasian man who’s crying.
2. The chiikawa alley cat has a peachy brown fur pattern that looks like a middle part and thin scruffy tail. Its face looks a little dirty still she acts cheeky with a wink and a sidestep while crossing her little arms.

3. Sonic character is a canary in jeans leather tunic with tassels. Her boots have straps for spurs attached by little gold rings.

4. Wasian guy with purple eyes mewing. His undershirt is light blue and his jumpsuit is red with a beige collar. He has full lips and beauty marks btw.

For Naomi and Artemis, it feels like a quick-time event in those "character will remember that" videogames, despite neither of them ever playing those because of their time period. Lester is pretty quick to do the right thing but hesitates when he's choosing between the safety of two people.
