Summary:

It took three months after exposure to the Z-virus for Simon to start changing. He has two heads already - his original black head, 'Simon', and now a white head sprouting on his left side, 'Riley'.

He's felt itching, uncomfortable pressure on the right side of his neck, similar to what he felt when Riley was starting to emerge. He mentally prepares himself for the arrival of a new head, and hopes to the sun above that it's not going to be a problematic one. He already has his claws full trying to wrangle Riley out of whimpering and going belly-up for Soap with a single look, has learned to tune out Riley's plaintive, incessant cries for touch and attention whenever Soap is close by.

So, yes, he's desperately hoping this third head is a little less…needy.
