I do tell Claude to do stuff in rust for things that I just want an outcome for (stuff like discord bots). for anything that I think I'll need to fiddle with or think will be complicated, I still do in R though.

spare parts is peak home ownership. I tell people to do things like keep an extra run capacitor for their AC unit. also toilet wax rings and a fill valve. I've also started keeping extra circuit breakers because I've now had a few go bad
