I ate it. Hand on my heart and swear to God, I can only describe it as "astonishingly edible" - this picture of the final microwaved product notwithstanding
Kraft dinner ramen as seen from above. But let's not kid ourselves, normal kraft dinner doesn't look that edible when seen from above either, to the untrained eye

Pompeii is a UNESCO world heritage site not because it was remarkable in its prime, but because it survived to our era untouched: one moment, preserved for all time. But future generations won't know what OUR world was like unless we do the same. This is why we MUST bury Toronto with a volcano

Near the end of the game they reintroduced these guys who dressed up as hot dogs and condiments, so excited were they for loonie dogs. Their group total was 35 hot dogs, just 7 each! These are hot dog enthusiasts?? I did 11 without a costume, put me in coach I'm ready
Two hot dogs, one ketchup, and two mustards being interviewed on the game screen. If I had a costume I could've done 12, no problem. No doubt in my mind

DOOMQUEST #4 comes out tomorrow! Doom's been on the Titanic (he saved the ship), and he's been George Washington (he took over Britain). But now he's somewhere new... the body of his past self, before he ended things with the love of his life. Can Doctor Doom... SMOOCH? You'll find out TOMORROW!!
Doom finds his consciousness inside the body of someone with no power, no standing and without anything beyond what this poor orphaned boy can scrounge on his own… which is to say, Doom finds his consciousness within his CHILDHOOD SELF. But now, with the knowledge of what is to come, Doom has a chance to do things differently — and BETTER. He can make different choices — win different battles. Rather than travel an ocean to study — in America, where he would meet his hated rival, Reed Richards, and become disfigured… he can stay in his home country, with his first and only love: a beautiful and clever young Latverian woman named Valeria. It’s a journey to the center of Victor Von Doom himself as he discovers how wildly differently his life could’ve gone… and the price he must pay to keep such victories!

I looked at the Wikipedia page for Mister Fantastic and I love how short and to the point his "Creation" section is. Stan Lee really said "I saw a good idea nobody was using so did that, the end."
Excerpt from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mister_Fantastic

Creation
During an interview, Lee stated the inspiration behind the character's powers:

"I liked Plastic Man. That's a great power, and nobody is using it so I gave Reed Richards Plastic Man's power."[3]

Fantastic Four story premises are everywhere for those with eyes to see
From a science.org article "Shattered skeleton in Scottish castle is first confirmed death from trebuchet" ( https://www.science.org/content/article/shattered-skeleton-scottish-castle-first-confirmed-death-trebuchet )

Excerpt reads:

To solve the mystery, Buckberry scoured the forensic and medical literature and searched through anatomical collections for equivalent injuries. “It looks like he was hit from behind by something traveling at a great velocity. The most similar cases I was finding were car crashes and people hit by trains,” Buckberry says. “But how do you get from there to a guy in medieval Scotland? What is large and moving very, very quickly in 1304 [C.E.]?”

Buckberry found the likeliest answer in history books. During Edward I’s 1304 siege of the castle, English forces deployed the recently invented trebuchet, a weapon first documented in the 12th century. A cousin to the catapult, trebuchets were capable of hurling boulders weighing more than 100 kilograms hundreds of meters. One at Stirling, dubbed “War Wolf,” “was the biggest trebuchet ever built at that point,” Buckberry says. Eyewitness accounts confirm the giant siege engine was used during the 1304 battle, tearing through two stone walls “as an arrow would fly through a piece of cloth.”

I got my hairs cut, at least the ones localized to the top half of my head. This is not all, or even most of them, but we all do what we can with what we have - and what I have is a body that slowly extrudes hair over most of its surface

I love how this makes it sound there's a special law against committing 39 pranks in particular. 38 is fine, but we must draw the line somewhere
An excerpt from the Wikipedia page of Camille Paglia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camille_Paglia - reading:

According to Paglia, while in college she punched a "marauding drunk", and takes pride in having been put on probation for committing 39 pranks.

Going through my old LiveJournal, I found one post describing an event I don't remember (image 1) and one post describing an event I do (image 2)
LJ post from Jan 23rd 2004:

Have you ever walked in on people making out in an elevator? Cause I just did!

They didn't stop right away, either. Then after we'd passed the second floor, one said "Looks like we missed our stop", which I found strange, since the "2" button wasn't pressed. The only button pressed was "4", which was for me.

They must have been riding those elevators for a while.

This was in the southern elevators in the Stanford Fleming Building on U of T's campus, for those interested in some VOYEURISM ACTION.LJ post from June 2nd, 2004:

I had just put my laundry in the washing machine at the laundromat and was going out for a stroll in the sun and flowers. As I walked beneath a tree, this long streak of bird poo flew through the air and landed on my shirt, all over my shoulder and upper back!

Well, I marched right back to the landromat, stripped off my shirt, and threw it in with the rest of my clothes.

I AM THAT HARDCORE. I sat around wearing my baggy-style shorts and Joe Boxer underwear for an hour until it was done.

I looked like I really wanted to get my money's worth!
