Incredibly excited for more light rail officially opening this Saturday! With many SEA employees living just south of the airport, the Sound Transit 1Line to Federal Way will help reduce commutes for workers while connecting southend communities to the airport and north. 🚆🚉🚊

This gives the City and the Port a chance to return to the framework established after the original industrial lands legislation. That MOU included County, Tribes, ST, and creates a mechanism for creating living wage jobs AND affordable housing.
