Almost every street is choked by on-street parking but the lane is barely ten feet wide, cars have to go one at a time, and speeds stay very low.

New benches installed on Orange County's Jones Creek Greenway. It will be really awesome when the town of Carrboro connects to this greenway and to the Chapel Hill Bolin Creek Greenway, creating a miles-long linear park for residents in both towns and the county to enjoy.

Lots of anxiety on the n'hood listserv about taxed property value being reassessed at the current market value. Are Orange County or Carrboro electeds discussing adjustments to the tax rate? Seeing a lot of "let's protest the assessment" but you can't argue that housing prices haven't gone way up

Also, appreciate the FAQ that states very clearly that greenways near creeks are allowed by state Jordan Lake Buffer Rules, an often misused excuse when Carrboro was debating the Bolin Creek Greenway alignment
