okay this ended up being worth it for the ram alone. i pulled its 8 gb stick of ddr4 and put it in my main desktop, and it turns out its totally fine running at 3600 MT/s!! gonna let memtest86+ do a few more passes to be safe but yeah. $16 stick of ddr4 holy fuck

memtest86+ being displayed. it has passed once already, and is 25% through the next round. listed are 3x sticks of 8 GB DDR4. two are DDR4-3600 XMP, the other is DDR4-2666 (the stick pulled from the Dell)

i really dislike its proprietary power supply though, and sata power comes from proprietary cables that plug into the motherboard. it only has one of those cables, meaning im unable to use both my sata ssd and the 1 TB hard drive it came with at the same time. stupid design
