For me it was in the pre-order summary.

Laravel's Scheduler running without cron! It works very similarly to Spatie's package, but uses Revolt instead of ReactPHP and doesn't call schedule:run under the hood. This was a very fun experiment and I'm probably going to release it as a package.
A PHP class method called run, it accepts a floating-point value called tickRate and runs in an infinite loop. The method checks on an interval if there are schedule jobs to run and if so, pushes it onto the event loop queue.

When the user presses control + c, the loop terminates.Split terminal output from Laravel's Scheduler. The top half shows the output from the scheduler itself, depicting the time, what command is being run, how long it took and whether it was successful.

The bottom half runs Laravel Pail, showing test logging output to confirm the command has actually run.

Not EU tech and has AI features that are search-adjacent and/or can be disabled, Kagi. It’s not free, but the search result quality is really good. It has *actual* personalised search by means of raising, lowering and blocking domains, custom bangs (eg !mdn to search on MDN) and more.

Started looking at Laravel Verbs. I find it to be very similar and not similar to actions at the same time. Not sure if I understand it but it’s really cool!
A PHP class with strict types turned on, it’s a webhook controller that accepts a request from Fail2Ban for a ban, unban or prolong ban action. A Laravel Verbs event is fired depending on the action received.

This was an optional change in Laravel 11 and 12 with the new application skeleton and was partially (albeit not directly) mentioned in the upgrade guide under Application Structure. Laravel Shift does take the liberty of doing it for you.
The 11 Laravel Upgrade guide about the application structure. The guide does not recommend Laravel 10 applications perform this upgrade.

I think so, I’m referring to the section of the usage docs in the image on this post. I read something similar on Laravel News some time ago.

Getting to the point where I'm happy with my Neovim config. Based on mini.nvim, the usual essentials (telescope, treesitter, lspconfig) and some very nice new stuff I learned about recently (blink.cmp and tiny-inline-diagnostics), I'm about ready to kick off 2025! #neovim #nvim

@cmorrell.com The plot thickens! On my proper monitor I get 174 and I found the blues and greens much easier to tell apart. I reckon the quality of the panel has a lot to do with this as well.

This is pretty wild. On my phone I get 183 and on my laptop 172. Perhaps the proper answer to turquoise being blue or green is “yes” 🤔
