Ran a few miles at race pace for the marathon in my race shoes and man they feel so good and easier to run fast.

I love doing marathons and other races but I kind of wish you could say don't give me a medal or shirt or whatever and they make it cheaper to enter. I don't need a hunk of metal hanging in my office. Feels like buying collectors editions of a game. It's all just a bunch of junk taking up space.

Ai thumbnails for videos, games, etc look so so bad. Why do people keep using them? I get almost unreasonably angry when I see them. I went on the play store to see if there was anything to check out and it's just ai barf as far as the eye can see.

My son (the one with the long blonde hair) absolutely crushed it in the cross country race today. 6th overall out of like 75 kids. He had a crazy hard fought sprint finish where he beat 2 other kids right at the finish line. He was so proud of his effort.

It's always funny when I look for a game to play and it usually is should I play "some AAA 300 million dollar budget game" or something like "Normal Golf Game" and I almost always choose the small indie title.

My run for the day was pretty hard but this time last year these paces probably would have killed me. I might could have done them but I would have needed significantly longer breaks in-between reps. Only took like 90s jogging break in-between each.

Alright I'll say it. I think boruto two blue vortex is better than Shippuden. It sucks though because part 1 of boruto is hot ass and borderline unreadable until at least Ada shows up. She is also probably my favorite designed character in the manga and her abilities are unique and interesting.

My workout long run tomorrow is going to be a good test if I can do the chicago marathon at the pace I want to finish it at. The workout is 2 mile warmup into 6x(2miles@6:30/mile then 1mile@6:50) then 2 mile cooldown. I'm going to be pretty tired after that one...

My wife wanted to go to a Lil Jon and Pitbull concert. We had a good time but Pitbull sent some mixed messages with an anti ai speech while 90% of the videos on the big screen were just filthy with ai generated content. The worst was a Lil Jon rendition of sweet Caroline fully ai generated.

Gas is $4.60 here in Ohio. That seems unsustainable? Like approaching societal collapse levels. At a certain point lower wage jobs just can't afford to even drive to work. There is quite literally no viable public transportation here.
