At my home #parkrun at Catford we make a big thing of putting something back into the the park we use, the park maintenance isn’t great there and we get lots of positive feedback. There was much less litter at Peckham.

Some #parkrun tourism with the #greenrunners to Peckham Rye. A very pleasant location with lots of twists and turns and friendly marshals. A tiny bit of set up before and litter picking afterwards (it’s so much cleaner than Lewisham parks). Best Outfit Award🏆 #loveparkrun #jogdivision

I’m doing London with my daughter- we’ll be slow but it really doesn’t matter. Depending on how well/badly it goes it could be my last attempt at the distance but there is a determination to get to the start line.

It wasn’t too bad actually as I didn’t go up or down the escarpment. I had a longer, gentler climb up from the opposite direction. Will add hills into long runs later, but for now it’s time on feet and distance.
