Each season could bring new maps based on destiny locations, new and returning exotics and legendaries, new bosses. Higher difficulties can have raid level final bosses. They have a ton of vanity items already made to use as rewards and micro transactions. Come on just do it!

The movement, abilities and weapons already work perfectly. They have a bunch of small simple puzzles that can be scattered across the map. Strike bosses already have great complexity for world bosses. They've got tons of weapons and buffs for rewards already.

We were talking about future potential smaller scale destiny projects and my wife came up with a GENIUS idea. Destiny: Nightreign Straight up take the elden ring Nightreign formula and build it in the destiny 2 engine. It would work so incredibly well that I can't believe it.

Destiny: Last Gamble I like gambit god damn it! And I think a smaller focused team could turn it into something really great and unique! Again a select balanced arsenal, higher difficulty options with more complicated boss mechanics, bring back the gambit archetypes and keep drifter employed

Destiny: Forged Damascus Pvp only. The crucible was always great feeling only dragged down by the need to balance between destiny's massive arsenal. So cut it down. Well balanced select weapons and abilities, your favorite crucible game modes. New rotation every season. I think it could be great
