OAS-DI, and later Medicare, were pay-as-you-go until 1985 when preparations were made for today's large cohort of retirees. They were *intentionally* pay-go because generating massive funds held by the government were seen as unwise in a free economy. 120

My understanding is that the plane is on LOAN to the US from the Qatari total family. The loan ends when Trump leaves office and the plane then gets donated to the Trump library. 010
