My girls are recovering from surgery and I am socializing two feral 3-4 month old kittens that are my girls half siblings in my room, my life right now is going one room to the other for feeding, attention, and poop scooping. Trying to organize a TNR for the mom and hitting roadblocks. I'm stressed!

Maybe the horrible cloud of depression caused by my job and having to be there will finally lift and I can feel like a human being again. My new chefs seem really easy to communicate with. I hope i can enjoy making food again.

Ohhh my gosh. I just put my two weeks notice in to the toxic job ive been at for 6.5 years. I GOT A NEW JOB!!! I get to be a pastry chef again!!! AND im getting $1.50 bump in pay with the chance to get another $1 in like 3-6 months. And this place is faaancy nice like whew. Im so scared omg.

I think I did good... my mouth gets dumb during interviews sometimes lol I feel like some of my awkwardness came out. I did go through three interviews and the last one was the GM so I did defeat the mini bosses at least

I have a job interview tomorrow for a new restaurant opening soon. If I get this job that means I'll get my full time hours back and also it'll be a full team of people instead of the bullshit skeleton crew I break my back to support now. Opening restaurants always over hire and weed out people.

I haven't named them yet... partially because I was worried they wouldn't stay alive but they're so little and im scared they won't continue to thrive. It's eating me up. I never felt this way with my previous 3 cats who were also very small and weak. Maybe the loss of Beboo 3 months ago lingers.

I'm scared that I'm not raising them right but they keep growing, playing, eating and pooping so I guess they're going OK. I'm scared every day something bad will happen. I am helicopter parent right now. Fueled by anxiety and coffee. If anything bad happens to them I will crumble.

So I found two kittens last weekend and have been exhausting myself taking care of them round the clock, they saw a vet already and are in good health and get 1st vaccines in 3 weeks. I haven't named them yet but have been calling them tuxxie and tabbie to differentiate. Sweet calico babes.
