It always bothered me when Dalek eyestalks don’t move where they’re supposed to.. this was a little more challenging, but successful I think.

A quick preview of a colourisation I’m working on. I wasn’t a fan of the “KILL HIM” shot, so I animated a still.

Haha I’ll take a look! Maybe a scene from Devil’s Planet! I have a half finished clip from The Dalek Invasion of Earth, must get that done.

First “shelfie” of the season! Seeing ‘The War Games in Colour’ in the shops is a wonderful feeling! I had to purchase a copy, just for the rush 😅 It’s lovely reading so many positive comments about the commentary and extras ❤️

The extra 6 minutes of The War Games in Colour really helps the project to shine even more. There is much more breathing space and the story doesn’t feel quite so chaotic. Decent set of extras as well.

Haha thanks Richard - I was glad we were able to tell everyone of plan for the “future faces” scene. What a shame we couldn’t get it over the line. It was such a good idea!

Cross-posting my Blogtor Who review of Doctor Who - The War Games in Colour just because I can. Fast, furious and fun, with some genius storytelling choices lending the tale greater focus, while the colourisation itself raises the bar hugely. A triumph by Ben Cool, @rtipple.bsky.social & the team.
