Many of you are asking how you can help my work. My only ask is this: Spread the word about the threats to democracy and how we can fight back. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket for free and share its content with everyone you know. Thanks. bit.ly/4qmEiFz

This morning, Ghislaine Maxwell blanket pleaded the 5th during her deposition in the Epstein case. What’s the message? She seems to be making it clear to Donald Trump that he can buy her silence with clemency. Not on our watch. Here is the latest. ⬇️

I was a White House ethics lawyer. I used to advise people not to even accept a free cup of coffee from someone who had interests before them. And staff followed those rules. I can’t even find the words to describe the scale of Trump’s corruption here.

Judge Biery signed the order with a photo of Liam and two bible verses: The first is "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." The second is simply "Jesus wept." Astonishing thing for a judge to do.
Philadelphia, September 17, 1787: "Well, Dr. Franklin, what do we have?" "A republic, if you
can keep it."
With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike,
It is so ORDERED.
SIGNED this 31st day of February, 2026.

I can’t get over how increasingly desperate and worried district judges are — they are doing all the right things — and how they’re being betrayed by appellate judges and a Supreme Court, both too cowardly to stand behind their decisions.

We just saw this, and it’s a good idea for businesses to post. Private businesses are allowed to set dress and conduct rules. Requiring no full face coverings has long been standard for safety and loss prevention reasons, and it is within a business’s rights to refuse entry or service.

Five years ago, Donald Trump instigated a violent insurrection in the Capitol to prevent Congress from certifying Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 election. The fact that the GOP coddled him, protected him, renominated him, and now support him in office, is a stain that will never be erased.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87% Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32% Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%. As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

It's heartening the leadership firewall against any talk of impeachment is breaking down, because it's so delusionally out of touch with reality. Either you mean what you say about the current anti-constitutional crime spree or you don't, and if you do, impeachment is the unavoidable implication.
