the thing is, when you spent an entire lifetime seeing a stranger in the mirror, and that finally changes for the better… losing yourself and not knowing if you’ll ever get yourself back is an avalanche of grief on top of drowning in a sea of dysphoria

Because as soon as I was done styling it, I looked in the mirror. And I could no longer see myself. If you don't understand the magnitude of this, please see PHOTOS AND REFLECTIONS. Trans people who transition as adults spend our entire lives never seeing who we really are reflected back at us, and when it finally happens, it's huge. It's beyond huge. It's a stellar event full of cosmic forces that shift the entire way the world operates for you. You can see when it first happened for me, in realtime, in PHOTOS 2: THE SELFIE APOCALYPSE. And now she was gone. Gone. I couldn't see Tilly in the mirror. I couldn't see me.

Here’s a thought, instead of implementing some nonsensical way to allow hate speech against LGBTQIA+ and immigrants because it doesn’t check an arbitrary box, you could instead suspend the accounts attacking them starting with the ones blocked the most. Because that’s where the toxicity actually is.
