Cross posting from YouTube because I haven't been getting responses on my last post

From a YouTube community post on the RoxieProxy channel:

Thanks to your support on the Super Mario 3D All-Stars retrospective, RoxieProxy has finally reached the first level of YouTube monetization after four years! That means I'll have to outline a potential RoxieProxy channel membership, and I'd like to work off of your feedback. So, a couple of questions:

1) Would you watch member-exclusive videos? The main RoxieProxy series will always be free to watch, but I could offer video game OST remixes, member-exclusive Roxie's Ramblings topics, and/or commentary on games I play for my videos.

2) Would you become a member to see episodes of RoxieProxy early? If not, would you be willing to wait? How long would be too long of a wait to make an episode public?

3) What is the absolute maximum amount of money you'd pay per-month for the above benefits? (For context, I'm aiming for somewhere within the $1-5 range.)

Every internet-enabled console has a clause saying its seller can brick your device or cut its access to vital servers off at their discretion btw. Here's the part of the Wii EULA that says unauthorized software can cause the system to disable network services or itself

Thank you all for your support on the 3D All-Stars video! By YouTube's engaged views metric (which is how views were counted before YT decided anyone who previews your video for one nanosecond is a viewer), this is my third most popular retrospective behind the Sonic Forces and Frontiers deep dives!

Engaged views: 2.5k

I'm so insanely Lubbapilled this innocuous line that was written for the express purpose of teaching the player about co-op is making me sad because what if she actually doesn't realize how much we appreciate her because her trauma leaves her with lingering feelings of doubt and self deprecation :(

Lubba says "Wish I could give you more help than just cheering from the sidelines..."

One year since Galaxy 2's Switch port means one year since the second Rosalina's Storybook- I'm overdue for a reread! If you missed out on last year's port, or you're a fellow Lubba fanatic, I have two in-depth analysis videos covering every plot & character detail Nintendo introduced (links below)

On this day one year ago, Nintendo released the Super Mario Galaxy 2 remake for Nintendo Switch, which utilized the game engines of Super Mario Odyssey and Bowser's Fury to give the Wii classic that wonderful HD feel!

The game will use a mix of Odyssey's and Bowser Fury's engine (in graphics and textures) to give it that wonderful HD feel.

The operation was completed successfully! Clear time: four hours and two minutes (not counting instances where I utilized save states and rewind)

See you next mission! Your rate for collectinf items is 49%

Clear time including use of save states and rewind: eight hours and sixteen minutes

Super Metroid is not going as smoothly as the previous games ☹️ There's no possible way that learning the bomb jump exploit was the intended solution for leaving the Kraid area this game is actively trying to softlock me 😭

Panel one: "Let's do a staring contest"
Panel two: NintenDeen with uncanny big eyes
Panel three (thirty seconds later): "N-never mind, don't look at me too much..."

140 subscribers and 1k watch hours needed on tomorrow's video to reach monetization As much as I love YouTube, it's essentially become a second job for me on top of my full-time nearly minimum wage night job. It's getting increasingly difficult to justify time and energy spent on these projects :(

The first community-voted episode of RoxieProxy releases this Saturday at 9 a.m. central time! I'll be giving my thoughts on the origins of 3D Mario, the collection that brought it together, and the legacy of Mario's 35th to answer the question: "What was the point of Super Mario 3D All-Stars?"

Finished my first 2D Metroid! Zero Mission pleasantly surprised me, I've heard this game described as just "the version you should play instead of the NES original" for years and was blown away when the game kept going after Mother Brain (uh spoilers for 22 year old game ig) Btw did I do good?

Three hours and 24 minutes (doesn't include my use of save states and rewind) and 54% item collection rate

Five hours and 49 minutes (closer to my actual in-game time)
