Do we have a #GeminiProtocol frontend or gateway for Mastodon or other fediverse software yet? Doesn't have to be a separate server software, could also be a ‘web app’ frontend like Phanpy or Elk, just much simpler for gemini. It might not be particularly elegant, but seeing BBS and Station […]

As a casual photographer who's still pretty new to b/w film, I occasionally find myself wondering how a certain scene would render on my currently loaded film. Will the sky be too low contrast against the sand-coloured building? Will the flowers stand out or […] [Original post on meow.social]

Some postcards from #OverTheHill by @funselektor.bsky.social! It's been a long day's trek: foggy woods, rocky waterfalls, even moon-like mountain sides. By the time we reached Rocky Ascent it was dark and rainy, but I'm sure the view is nice! #4x4Postcards #VirtualPhotography

Video game screenshot from Over the Hill. An American SUV and a Land Rover are parked in a rocky hillside, and at a rather steep angle. It's dark, but the sky is still red from the very last rays of sun. A dramatic landscape of forested valley and snow-clad mountains can be seen in the distance.

Photo of a fuzzy wolf-lynx hybrid with blue hair and a blue nose, jumping up and holding an arm in the air. The motion can only be described as either partying or going for a basketball slam dunk. In doing so, the creature appears to rise above a strong-looking man wearing a singlet and standing with his back to us. Bright red light is coming in from the side, and vague shapes can be seen in the back; it is definitely a dance floor, not a basketball court.

Wholly green-coloured photo of some canine creature on a show stage. He's standing on the stage next to the DJ table, wearing a t-shirt and baggy trousers with a bunch of tags and lanyards, raising one arm in the air and dancing to the beats with his tongue out. The strong stage lights and the heavy smoke renders everything green and dreamy.

‘You like dancing with furries, don't you?’ #FursuitFriday Turns out that a smoke-filled room full of bright stage lights and constantly moving people isn't great for cameras. But hey, it looks cool. 📷 Canon EOS M6 II 🔎 EF 50/1.8 STM #Photography #Pawske26

Photograph showing the silhouette of a fuzzy animal head with large and glowing green eyes, turning sideways at the camera and looking right at it. The background is a blurry, smoke-filled room partially lit by bright green lights, a DJ on stage and some kind of visualisation playing on the wall behind the DJ. It's a dance party, and the animal is eyeing you intently.

An analog photograph of a small opera piece being performed on a show stage. The performance is made by a red fox on violin, a polar bear on the bass, and a kangaroo hybrid creature and a tiger singing a duet.

The stage background is a graphic of a pink cherry tree, and everything around is black, except for the blue and green-ish stage lights and two perfectly placed columns of red light piping from the CineStill film stock, one on either side of the stage. Silhouettes of the audience's heads can be seen in the foreground.

For this week's #FursuitFriday, some digital snapshots of a couple of Norwegian fuzzies I stumbled across at #nfc2025. 🐱 Inkosi (inkosicheetah.bsky.social) 🐲 Atrox (atrox.bsky.social) 🦊 Vozzy (vozzy.bsky.social) 📷 Canon EOS M6 II 🔎 Canon EF-M 32 mm f/1.4

Portrait photo of a cheetah with blue hair, nose and paw pads, looking like he's in the middle of an important conversation in a fancy hotel lobby. He wears a green bandana labelled ‘Inkosi’ (that's his name) and is actively gesturing with his arms. The photo was taken over the blurry shoulder of something fuzzy and blue, presumably one of the cheetah's conversational partners.

Portrait photo of a fuzzy green dragon with bright orange hair, standing and smiling in an open outdoor space. Her bright hair hangs to the side and almost fully covers her right eye. She's wearing a green lanyard that almost matches her fur, and which reads ‘2025’ and holds a couple of badges. In the blurry background are some modern office buildings and a large white party tent.

Portrait photo of a bright orange fox standing on an indoor scene. The fox is looking into the camera and holding his violin and bow, which he just finished playing. Fittingly, the fox has a black pattern looking like a musical note on one of his arms.
