If this was 2017, someone from Bustle would have interviewed all those ao3 Heated Rivalry AI writers and written something that was both popcorn-worthy and a complete missed opportunity.

Cover reveal time! An adult science fiction novel tinged with horror, about the crew of a small warship in a relatively near future where humans hitch rides to the stars on sentient star-faring mountain ranges called Massifs. Can be pre-ordered at the usual places, *please* do so. Thank you.

Three covers of my novel MASSIF. The UK and Australian ones have a photo-realistic approach, the US one is illustrative. All feature a seated figure looking up at a mountain range ascending into space. US cover illustration by Matt Griffon. UK cover by blacksheep.

something is wrong with marketing when I didn't even know that my favorite Grisham novel was adapted for tv in 2025. Like, hello?

Like this is no comment on them in reality or anything. It's the visual. It's this moment. I keep watching...

Sit down to write and every single minor physical discomfort becomes known: eyes are dry, slight headache, entire face is congested. This was definitely not a problem I faced at 20 •_•

You know, there used to be a time not that long ago that shippers were severely discouraged and shows would literally change the plot to separate ships 😌 #murderbot

sometimes I think about scenes from Kenobi, like this one of Vader dragging the ship he thought Ben was in to the ground and am just like how was that show real

I think what's bothering me about audience reaction to #thehoundsofsisyphus is that the hints are NOT SUBTLE. Every other panel is ~mysterious backstory~ and ~ominous shadow~ The first time they "meet" is just Guwon casually debating whether to let Jinwoo bleed out from a head wound.

100

RoughDraftHero @roughdrafthero.bsky.social · 13/04/2025

Lmao it literally took a direct shot of Guwon puking into a toilet for the audience to realize Jinwoo isn't getting the full story.
