Just as important--the lax hiring window on financial crime. Not as showy, but really worrisome. Think about why people steal. There is often an addiction involved. Is three years enough time to ensure that the prospective FBI agent has an addiction under control? No.

I think by the time these folks let their friends or relatives or standard physicians know their beliefs, they may have already gotten pulled into cult thinking. In other words, standard medicine is confronting sunk costs -- in Instagram views, in expensive herbs, in multilevel marketing.

the plan to move the bust of JFK is very concerning. Will it get damaged in the process and then disappear for repairs? Will it go into "temporary storage" somewhere, no one knows where? Art has already disappeared from the Kennedy Center, and it is not clear where that art went.

It was so obvious that this was coming--make parents pay for those tests, and also require a "professional" stranger to "examine" a girl's genitals. Who has money or the stomach for this? This would then suppress girls' sports, then schools would cut back on them because so few are signing up, etc.

It is ironic when local boosters talk about the many jobs to be created. How many staff does it take to monitor a warehouse--basically glorified security guards, I am guessing? Wouldn't skilled repair/module replacement crews be coming in from elsewhere when needed?
