Truthfully there is no consistency in the amount of pages per chapter. Some are longer, some are shorter, it all depends on how much time is needed to get everything across to the audience that I’m aiming for. Chapter 3 is very lore heavy and faster paced, so a lot is covered in those 80 pages!

121 pages is the total length of the story thus far, not the amount if pages in a single chapter; the Prologue had 7 pages, Chapter 1 had 55 pages, and Chapter 2 had 59! Chapter 3 is pushing 80 pages.

I like to think so. Each one of my pages is hand drawn, in full color, and quite detailed. If I were to release the comic in traditional Webtoon style (very long panels containing multiple pages) people would be waiting like 3 years for a chapter to finish! 😂😵‍💫 There is only 1 page left in Chapter 2!

I think we discussed this once before; I plan each chapter organically. I don’t put specific chapter lengths in place, but rather I plan out exactly what important plot beats need to happen and when, and let each chapter flow naturally for however long (or short) it needs to.

I’ve been working on building this story for a very long time, so there are definitely a lot of ideas at play. Rewrites don’t happen too often, but when I do come up with a better idea, I try to account for it when I’m scripting a chapter as opposed to trying to deal with it in final production.
