He's one of the greatest hockey players to come out of Russia. He's certainly made a lot of money for the NHL. On the surface this makes him look like a straight-up Putin pawn and suck-up and the NHL should either suspend him or kick him out of the league.

Barry Melrose, one of the all time great NHL broadcasters, died today. Barry's professional playing career spanned 6 NHL seasons and 3 WHA seasons. During the 1992-93 NHL season, Barry coached the Los Angeles Kings to the Stanley Cup finals. RIP Barry.

It's nuts to think the Angels can move into LA County like the Clippers did and be successful. Even if the Dodgers have a season or 2 at .500, they still own LA. Besides, there's a shit-ton of money in Orange County and Angels fans are over-the-moon that Kroenke is now majority owner

Jack was drafted in 1943, a year before my dad. Jack was involved in the Battle of the Bulge and suffered severe frost bite of his feet (and I think his legs). That injury sent him home to recover. Jack was a war hero on top of everything else he accomplished in his life 🫡
