Discovering Brindlewood Bay's item rules the first time I played it. Based on how you introduce your player character, each other person at the table invents one of your inventory items. A super simple rule that promotes active listening and feels nice.

For a while, Harry Potter was most of my childhood. Showing up to the bookstore on release day in a wizard cape my mom made for me type. But I grew up and HP became a fond memory. I think the #ttrpg scene could use more #pbta games that are built for duet play, at the very least as training tools for GMs in the framework. Learn 'the conversation' in a one-on-one setting, where you don't have the ghosts of mechanical balance and action economy hanging around.

I mainly watch it for the "improv prompt" shows, Game Changer and Make Some Noise. Very Important People and Smartypants are also pretty good. And I'll watch Dimension 20 when they run non-DnD games. It's a large library of good content for a low price. I would try for it for a few months at least.
