TL;DR: A 2026 Molecular Psychiatry study found ethanolamine in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was lower during active major depression, increased after electroconvulsive therapy, replicated across 4 sites, and tracked with symptom severity. brainasap.com/csf-ethanolamine-depr…
