Thanks to the postal workers and investigators who identified and intercepted it, no one in our office was in immediate danger. We’re grateful to everyone involved for their quick response and we will continue working closely with law enforcement as the investigation continues.

I don't think Flanagan had any big misses in the mix, but I am guessing we'll see some continued clipping and pushing on some of her responses around the Walz administration and accountability for crime/fraud.

I think the biggest fail for Tafoya was on the social security question, which is maybe not top of mind for most voters, but clearly caught her without a ready answer "I think what you heard was Michele Tafoya doesn't have a plan on social security, I do." Or all the dodges on Trump alignment Q's.

No matter how you feel about both of the candidates, watching a debate you *know* how Peggy Flanagan would operate in the Senate. I genuinely can't say the same for Tafoya, party politics aside. That's troubling - especially coming from a first time candidate for this significant of a seat.

Peggy Flanagan has done some of her own positioning throughout the campaign but is an unapologetic proponent of government as a force for good and a strong social safety net. With Tafoya...we get a lot more generalities and critiques rather than proactive proposals.

I have made no secret about where I sit on the US Senate race in MN; but I think it's noteworthy how much Michele Tafoya is banking on positioning herself as a bipartisan moderate to win over voters. It is a bet against the MAGA base of the party, and a stark contrast to 2024 nominee Royce White.
