What serendipity! I was just quickly sketching up my Harengon character for a new D&D campaign I’ve recently joined. When Claxton magically appeared to the party, one of them said “Oh, a cute and fuzzy bunny?” and I replied, “More like a vicious tweaker left behind at the desert EDM festival”

Technically not the first, since I offloaded a lot of pics at some point. Quick crayon sketch on the table before the food arrived

That’s the most undulating column I’ve ever seen. I wonder if it would work mounted on a rotating base

If you count all the hours I stared with awe and reverence at this masterful painting as closely as the museum guards would allow

I don’t remember if I shared this before but it was very cathartic to create

A horribly bruised and bloated corpse-like creature, shambling out of a foetid swamp, vacantly staring ahead, wearing an ill-fitting suit and too-long tie in a vain attempt to disguise its corrupted monstrous features and blend in with humanity

Look, the pandemic was a stressful and confusing time for us all.

So I have an exciting job interview scheduled for tomorrow (wish me luck!) and figured I’d shave today to look somewhat professional. Unfortunately I’ve been watching the superb historical comedy series 1670 on Netflix and have lost all sense of appropriate facial hair style

Did you give them one of these looks

I went with the square model but the round one is nice too

Really, Nazis from anywhere are bad without question but at least the one that just couldn’t hold it in today can’t legally become the President.

If anyone is wondering what happens to the kids after the Skeleton Crew finale, I’m certain you can find them somewhere in this pic

Thank you for your concern, we are safe for now. The sky this morning is overcast with smoke from the Eaton fire to the NE but fortunately for us the closer Palisades fire didn’t advance south overnight. It’s going to take days to get this under control and assess the full damage.

The final concept for the Tcho-Tcho Faction's GOO, Ubbo-Sathla, featured in the Onslaught 2 expansion for the #CthulhuWars board game by @petersengames (now available for purchase through @hc_quimbley). I mixed elements of slime molds and simple cellular organisms into it's primordial ooze body.

Another final Tcho-Tcho Faction concept from the #CthulhuWars OS2 board game by @petersengames (now available for purchase through @hc_quimbley). This was the first Faction-specific High Priest design, based on the cultist garb shown in the superb Whisperer in Darkness film from @hplhs.bsky.social

One of the concepts I developed for #CthulhuWars OS2 of the Tcho-Tcho Acolyte. This was the first Faction-specific design to add variety to the common units. As a small figure, I didn't want them to get lost on the board so he is holding up a human skull to be the same height as the human Acolytes.

A few quick sketches I made of some of the amazing exhibits we saw yesterday on display at the @nhmla.bsky.social including their newest addition, a #Diplodocus nicknamed #Gnatalie and my personal favorite, a lovely #coelocanth specimen.

With Batman getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, local news reports are missing another opportunity to shine a light on Bill Finger’s crucial contribution to the character’s development. Instead, they are naming Bob Kane, also honored with his own star, as the character’s sole creator.

Hoping this #swtwt tag catches on here. I’ve been a Star Wars fan from the ‘77 premiere to the Acolyte. As an artist and game developer, one of my decades long career goals is to work on a SW project. Until then, I’ll enjoy cosplaying as my galactic denizen OC.
