The lack of trust in the US government impacts internally as well. Serving in any government agency is now subject to the whims of the President. So why work for any of them? FBI, CDC, NOAA, NASA, FCC, FAA, IRS, etc. are all jobs that you can no longer count on being consistent or fulfilling.
