Mixing with dark pigments? When I’ve played around with Ammo’s wet mud and splashes products previously, the effect hasn’t been very convincing. 110

Roger Hunt @rogerhunt.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Thanks Adam. I can’t claim credit for the technique, it’s borrowed heavily from Night Shift. Mostly AK acrylics, base layer of khaki, followed up with lots of fine lines in a variety of heavily thinned lighter and darker tones. You can shift the tone with very thin washes. Darker tones for shadows. 110

Roger Hunt @rogerhunt.bsky.social · 07/08/2026I’m not sure (I’m not near my bench atm), but I think it’s a Lifecolor size 0. The trick is heavily thinned paint, and making sure the brush is unloaded first. 010
