The AI epidemic is reaching a point now where I’m about to completely lose my fucking mind. People aren’t writing emails anymore. They’re writing fucking AI prompts. And then sending the AI-written email. So now I’m in an email exchange between two people using AI to summarise and send replies. 🫠

I keep being shown Insect Wars content on Facebook. The premise is that they basically put two insects in a confined space and watch them fight it out until one of them dies. Reported it for animal cruelty. A lot of the time it’s insects that would never encounter each other in the wild.

I think a lot of the criticism of our defence as being the ‘open’ part of the team is misplaced. The issue isn’t the defensive line. It wasn’t actually Richards, Canvot or Disasi. It was the 7 players ahead of them too. They were all culpable. And they all improved in the second half.

This is the first month in 3 and a bit years where we haven’t had to pay nursery fees for our son. The way this country treats nursery care is an outrage. Most other western nations provide significantly more funding for it. We spent about £950 every month on it. Completely nuts.

The handwringing by members of the journalistic fraternity in response to Arday’s death disgusts me. They only look at it through the prism of their own reporting, not that of the collective. Hundreds of articles, hours of TV and radio coverage. For what? Plagiarism? Or was it really racism?

I find most mentions of suicide to be triggering. It regularly takes me back to the moment I found out my sister died. The experience was extremely traumatic. When I hear someone has taken their life, I wish I could just shield them from the pain, the questions, the guilt and the longing.

I find it quite funny that people suddenly feel sorry for Embolo after he cheated to get an opponent booked, and then suffered the consequence of his own cheating. I’m no fan of VAR but if someone has done something so obvious, they deserve to be punished. And Embolo knew he was on a yellow.

Every time I walk to and from work I see this ad. My sister took her own life 3 and a bit years ago in December. It’s a hugely important thing to try and prevent but it’s also immensely upsetting. I’m not sure how you navigate publicly trying to prevent suicide without it being triggering.

I reported a user repeatedly posting a monkey gif under a story about Vinicius Jnr’s racism accusation to Instagram. It was clearly racist. Instagram have ‘reviewed’ each report and declined to do anything about them, claiming they don’t breach community standards. They don’t care about racism.
