Sage can’t catch a break with our back 3. That’s not on him. He’s been given either injury prone players or options that aren’t suitable for his style. Consistency is so important - we saw that under Glasner. As soon as we had a settled back line, we thrived. Sage just hasn’t had that luxury. #cpfc

There’s way too much noise re Sage being in trouble for it not to be true. & it’s all a bit of a joke tbh. The club had since last October to find Glasner’s replacement & they’re now panicking after 4 league games. It’s a damming indictment on those making the decisions. #cpfc

A great result this evening. & I hope it relieves a bit of pressure off of Sage. But this is our main issue right now. That line’s a disgrace. Disasi’s position is a joke. I don’t know how to feel after that. The majority of our players deserve a lot of credit for that 2nd half. Timber in particular was outstanding. That arguably doesn’t do him justice. Kamada too was great. JSL took his goal brilliantly. 11 men & we beat them. Disastrous from Disasi. #cpfc

This is so true. Our midfield is crying out for a destroyer - some legs that get around & are a presence. Basically Doucoure pre injury. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Wharton hasn’t had the impact on the last couple of games he normally does. Sangare would’ve been the glue in this team #cpfc

I might be getting carried away, & he could bomb for the rest of the season…but Daichi Kamada could go down as a #cpfc all time great. For me, he’s already part of the best midfield duo in my time supporting the club. Which is some turnaround given his first 6 months at the club. I love him. #cpfc

Just had someone steal a parcel left outside our flat (as we asked via Ring doorbell) whilst we were 5 mins down the road in town. Our 2nd goal - watch Kamada. He initially wins the ball before playing a great cross field ball out to Tyrick. But his run that follows is unreal. A 50/60 yard sprint to support the attack & drag defenders away with his movement. It’s class. It was a fortuitous equaliser, but Daichi earned it. #cpfc

That was fun, but terrifying. Positives are Mitchell & Disasi, not to mention the character we showed having gone behind twice. However, we’d have been annihilated by a better side. Richards & Canvot were not good - hopefully they’ll get better with each game next to Disasi #cpfc
