It seems many people don’t recognize how absurdly large a billion is compared to a million. A millions seconds is 11.5 days (a long vacation). A billion seconds is 31.7 years (a career). A million dollars stacked is about as tall as the Statue of Liberty. A billion stacks past the edge of space.
