This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

Dunno how I'd ever test or prove this but I have a theory that a major shift in the sound of r&b music over the last 50 years has been because of the shift from new up & coming musicians working night jobs like bartender & warehouse jobs being overnight to working day jobs and recording at night

I listened to John Sterling's "Hayes makes the catch! Yankees win, the Yankees win!" on a radio live in my teenage bedroom, I left the bar to sob in silence the final innings of '04. I was a kid for the late eighties Giants and adult for two Eli miracles. These Yankees are forgettable.

the Ohio Democratic party is purging its ranks by forcing trans people to either resign or go along with politicians who threaten their existence and calling a pride group an "unwelcoming distraction." If we're just a distraction, then win without our votes and get rid of the fake "pride" orgs 👍🏾
