I’ve been growing my hair out since 2021, only doing maintenance cuts. At some point, it will be long enough, and I think they’ll be a little sadness in that. 💇‍♀️

Before I transitioned, it was frustrating looking at timelines where it seemed someone went from sad dude, to the most beautiful person, seemingly overnight. It takes time. T-2 years till transition, 15 days HRT, one year HRT, two years HRT, three years HRT, and a little over four years HRT

For me, vocal training was one of the hardest parts of transition. It’s hard because it’s counterintuitive, because instinctively you think it’s about pitch, which it really isn’t. It’s all about resonance, cadence, and inflection. (for reference, this is how I open my shows). 👩‍🎤✨

This might only be me, but I think the right atrial ventricular valve is kinda hot!

So much fucking fun working with 16 Volt tonight! One of my favorite bands, and definitely in my collection of major influences! I might have had them sign a record that I bought! And I did a pretty good job of not being a huge fan girl about it! 🫣🖤

One of my favorite consoles to work on, the Avid SC48! A lot of engineers hate these, but I love her so much! I especially love this one, and this is my favorite place to do monitors! 💗✨

It’s hard to describe with tax year, if you don’t know what one of these is, but it’s a big complicated looking digital Audio console. I was so exhausted this past Tuesday that I got to class an hour early, only realizing that fact in the elevator as the doors were about to open.
