I loved this! In the 1992 I saw the Secret Cabaret live show at the City Varieties in Leeds. Superb stuff, and afterwards Simon Drake stayed and chatted to us in the bar for ages, as did his warm-up guy, a young unknown comedian called Lee Evans.

The whole reason for the success of Season One in 2005 was that it was fresh and new and crucially it avoided clinging to the past. If it does come back (and I’m really not sure it should) then the same approach needs to be taken again.
