The Secret Cabaret - alt rock-skewed goth-tinged Crazy World Of Arthur Brown-evoking Simon Drake-led Channel 4 industrial conjuring show, somewhere between The Jim Rose Circus styled by Jasper Conran and Five Magic Minutes for Nine Inch Nails fans. timworthington.org/2018/11/26/l...

I loved this! In the 1992 I saw the Secret Cabaret live show at the City Varieties in Leeds. Superb stuff, and afterwards Simon Drake stayed and chatted to us in the bar for ages, as did his warm-up guy, a young unknown comedian called Lee Evans.
