Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 17hPERSONA is the most upsetting book I've ever read (complementary) you should read it to learn about new kinds of bugs, and all the opportunities that CHARIOT MARKETING has for you 050
Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 06/10/2026one of my favorite explorations of this is A/S/L by Jeanne Thornton, which does an amazing job of showing the ways that games allow people to feel embodied in alternate personhood (also the character work in that book is just exquisite and i highly recommend it) 080
Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 06/10/2026This story is a roar of defiance against the weaponization of the 40% statistic (iykyk) Extremely upsetting in a good way. Queer as in FUCK YOUR SHIT UP This story isn't hahaha funny, but if I had to describe what trans gallows humor looks like in 2026, I might point to this story 061

Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 27/09/2026most people don't know this, but if your city has a Rat Czar, that is NOT a person in charge of managing or eliminating the rat population a Rat Czar is a little guy in a rat costume (and tiny crown) who follows your mayor around and hisses at him, like a nasty jester 3151

Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I loved this book! You should read it! Many books are compared to LeGuin, but this is IMO one that is actually interested in exploring the topics that fascinated LeGuin it's an incredible exploration of what queerness will look like in the far future also, it's a book that loves the desert 0349
Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I hope you enjoy it! I tried to represent a very wide swath of what I think the genre can do, but this story in particular seems like it would be really your thing. I tihnk you'll also get a kick out of Carseed by Maxine Firehammer 021

Ann LeBlanc @robotleblanc.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I've never been happy with pinholes in pre-made cabinets (they feel flimsy and I've had shelves collapse too many times), so if I'm not using a dado for shelves, I usually just screw in a strip of scrap wood that the shelf can rest on. Looks nicer IMO and feels sturdier. 110
