I was pretty cynical about Man City’s financial doping and didn’t like the idea of stripping titles etc, but seeing their utterly shameless response and desperate threats makes me want the book thrown at them.

The timing of the recent bond market ructions has been fortunate, but I don't think the daily ebb and flow of yields should distract from the broader message my book tries to relay — the bond market is huge, multifaceted and absolutely fundamental to today's global financial system.
