If you use ‘we’ in your writing and you are not writing as a group of authors (plural!) then I will highlight and delete them all. You sound like a Victorian aristocrat and you must stop this. It’s not inclusive, it’s patronising. Style guides need to deal with this aberration more clearly.

Last day of recording our ‘Vivaldi in Prague’ CD, supported by The Continuo Foundation. Today was the very nimble Sally Holman dispatching Vivaldi’s bassoon concerto in G minor. The day ended with the epic violin concerto in D minor by Jiránek, played by Tassilo Erhardt. We did it!
