Magic Maze: Maximum Security is the Game (expansion) of the Week! Dodge sensors, guards, and a mustachioed Beholder to steal your weapons from the magical mall. I'm testing out a few different ways to play solo since the standard version... isn't great.

Santorini (and its many expansions) is the Game of the Week! An elegant abstract game is not the immediate candidate I think of for expansions, but that didn't stop Santorini from getting absolutely flooded with them. It gets wild, but are they missing the forest for the trees?

I love finding games at thrift stores that I've never heard of. This game is gorgeous, and the storm that sweeps across the board and picks up magnetic boats as it passes over them is very spooky and fun. And look at that illustration on the insert! If it was complete, I would have taken it home.

Love Letter (2019) is the Game of the Week! There are so so so so so many versions of the smash hit that kicked off the micro game wave in the early 2010s, and this is another one! But I do enjoy the new cards and having more info in 2-player games is nice! Wild to see how it changes over the years.

Jungo is the Game of the Week! Don't you dare rearrange your hand of cards! Only play cards that match AND are next to each other. Yes, it's like Scout. But it's new to me, so the cards aren't as sticky as my old Scout copy, so that's a plus!

Ubungo is the Game of the Week! Race to solve your own polyomino puzzle! That's it! You aren't solving the same puzzle, so the race aspect is kinda weird. Not my favorite, but I liked making this week's sticky note!
